Agents forget everything between sessions. Memory SDK gives them one place to store, recall, search, and forget things over MCP, so Claude, Codex, and other tools all work from the same memory.

It started as a local Rust version called Mneme. Running a daemon on every machine got in the way, so I rebuilt it in TypeScript on Vercel: no daemon, just an MCP endpoint and a CLI that connects your agents.

It also works as a connector in claude.ai on web, desktop, and mobile.

  1. Added an OAuth connector for claude.ai on web, desktop, and mobile.

  2. Launched the platform: sign-in, per-user memory namespaces, and the CLI.

  3. Wrote the plan to move from the local Rust version to a hosted TypeScript one.
